|The business manager provides financial oversight and leadership for Kroka Expeditions by developing and managing the program financial condition through proactive management of all activities that affect the organization revenues, expenses, assets and liabilities. The business manager also provides support in the general administrative operations of the organization. The business manager should be aligned with the principles and goals of Kroka.|
|Schedule||Year-round, full-time, starting in December 2013|
|Responsibilities||Coordinates the staff, faculty and board preparation and recommendation of the school’s budget for the upcoming year. Assists in interpreting the monthly financial statements, budget line items and implementing mid-year budget adjustments as needed. Coordinates long-term financial plan.
|Qualifications||Background in bookkeeping, accounting and tax
Knowledge of administration of employee benefits
With focus on legal and regulatory compliance
Ability to work under pressure
