Education: M.S. in Environmental Education, Antioch University; B.A. in Psychology, Japanese and Sign Language, University of Rochester

Bio: Becca comes to Kroka from, well…all over, really. Having grown up in the U.K. and Switzerland, after university she decided to give life in the U.S. a go. She’s spent the last 10 years gliding through the worlds of education, farming, and cooking. Among other things, she has worked as an educator on a sailboat in the Atlantic and Caribbean Seas, led sea kayaking trips for adults in WA, instructed sailing expeditions and taught experiential outdoor science lessons with Outward Bound in MA, designed and built a nature play-scape in OH, established a garden and cooked at a NOLS base in ID, helped launch a nature-based preschool in OR, taught 4 year olds how to ride bikes without training wheels and make meals on camp stoves in CA, and grew her love for fresh veggies working on farms across the country. When she’s not in the kitchen, Becca appreciates any opportunity to get outside, where she can get lost in admiring interesting cloud formations or watching insects scuttle around. 

Favorite Thing About Kroka: Food dehydration!

Personal Passions:  Juggling, frisbee, scary movies, and long walks on the beach.
