It is with great enthusiasm that we announce that our 2021 summer programs are now open for registration! At a time of fear and uncertainty when joy and hope can seem hard to come by, Kroka summer programs offer a much-needed alternative. Today more than ever young people need authentic experiences in community, supportive challenges, and good old fashioned fun in the outdoors. That’s why for our 27th season we’ve designed six brand-new expeditions to go along with old favorites. We think there will be something for everyone – from age 9 to 19!
We are proud to have been one of a distinct few overnight camps that remained open for the 2020 season. With nearly 350 students attending and not a single case of COVID-19, we feel confident in our ability to run COVID-resilient programs no matter what the future holds. Here’s what Kroka summer families said about their 2020 experience:
“We knew we had made the right choice”
“We were impressed and pleased with the program every step of the way”
“At the end of two weeks he was hungry, dirty and tired. He felt that he had accomplished something good”
“Our son returned to us owning a newfound sense of perseverance that will aid him as he heads into the unknown”
“The program was deeply transformative for our son”
“Thank you for holding our daughter with such compassion and kindness“
“Our daughter came home changed. She knows she can push herself. She knows it is OK to be scared and uncomfortable. She was so happy to feel truly free”
We have been experiencing heightened interest in all programs this fall and we expect the summer to fill quickly. We invite you to browse our summer offerings and reserve your space today!
