Our winter semester at Kroka began on Monday, January 18 with a united middle school and high school arrival day. Our induction ceremony was graced by a dusting of snowflakes, the warm hearts and open minds of students, parents, and teachers; and our trusted friend, Huck!
The students enjoyed getting to know each other by playing games on the ice and in the yurt.
Students have begun to learn anew and again the rhythms and rituals of Kroka life in chores, academics, fitness, and mealtime gratitude circles. Already we see the easy re-connection of our returning students to their community at Kroka, and the opening of the community to accept our new students. Happy Birthday to Tyler! Happy Winter to All!
